I am an architect-turned-stationery-lover behind Okay Sushi. After spending years crafting the structures of the corporate world, I decided to trade my blueprints for something a little more...personal. As an architect, I have always been drawn to design, colours, patterns, and making the world around me more beautiful and functional. But why stop at buildings? Why not bring a little more beauty into everyday life—starting with your desk?

I have always had a thing for quirky and cute stationery (I am talking about the kind that makes you smile just by looking at it). I figured, why not share this joy with the world? So, armed with a love for doodles and illustrations, and lots of encouragement from my friends and family, I decided to create Okay Sushi—a space where every pen, paper, and pad has its own little story to tell.

Here is where the magic happens… and sometimes, the chaos. All our products are designed in-house, with about 50% of them being crafted by our own hands. The other half? Well, we trust the good old printing press—but we are personally involved every step of the way to make sure no colour, texture, or design gets too wild (no, really, we check everything, twice).

And let us not forget my emotional support system—my plants. They sit on my desk, quietly judging me as I face the never-ending struggle of keeping every product perfect. You would think they would be more helpful, but nope. They mostly just keep me company during those late-night crafting sessions.

Oh, and speaking of rejuvenation—I love to travel. Sometimes, a quick getaway is just what I need to fuel up, and trust me, I return ready to conquer the next batch of quirky designs!

We use high-quality, eco-friendly packaging materials that, yeah, cost us a bit more (okay, a lot more), but we believe it is worth it. We want to do our part to make the world a little greener, even if that means our packaging costs three times as much as what you will see elsewhere. No plastic, no compromise—that is our motto.
